What is the value of family and what is the real meaning of compassion? Ms. Caroline Luk Yin Wan will sing for us with a beautiful voice, a Chinese song, “Song of Familial Bliss” by the famous Chinese composer Huang Zi, glorifying the nobility of family and universal love. As singers, if we eat too much meat, our voices seem to feel somewhat unclean.”“I’ve been in Hong Kong for 30 years, and I’ve [been] vegetarian most years of my life. And I feel really great, and I feel the inner power coming from vegetarianism. I feel the whole world should turn vegetarian because I feel killing is not good. And when we eat those killed animals, we make our stomach a graveyard, which is supposed to be a temple and not a graveyard. I feel Supreme Master Ching Hai is doing a very good thing by making everybody vegetarian.
