Sometimes it may just be that they are learning how to fly, or their mummy or daddy have taken them on an adventure. Check if they’re in immediate danger— like near busy roads or cat-people and in this case, try to help guide them to a safer area. If their nest is not in sight, or if their parents don’t come back to the nest within an hour, notify a local wildlife rescue group. If the bird-baby is in distress, they should promptly be taken to a vet, and any little fellow with their eyes shut and without any feathers needs help immediately, so don’t delay. If you need to transport them, use a soft-cotton cloth like a towel placed in a small box like a shoe box to nestle them in. Keep calm and quiet while you gently bring them to help.
