One such individual is Dr. Armaiti May, a vegan veterinarian from Los Angeles, California, USA. An animal advocate, she is the founder and president of the Veterinary Association for the Protection of Animals (VAPA). Dr. May promotes the benefits of a plant-based diet for both humans and our animal companions. She also strives to change Veterinary education policies to ensure all animals are treated with the utmost respect and kindness.
