In today’s news, European Union helps Pakistan flood victims with additional funding. Study says top artificial intelligence firms fall short on product safety frameworks, Qatar hosts large-scale international art exhibition featuring workshops and live performances, Georgian capital to plant 11,000 trees in green initiative, billionaire couple in US make donation to help secure future of US children, Europe’s largest vegan summit held in Hungary, and animal charity in Quebec, Canada opens new 24/7 hotline for reporting animal-people abuse.

I have a gardening tip for you. After heavy rain, raised garden beds can suffer from compacted soil, reduced oxygen, fungal growth, and nutrient loss. Once excess water has drained, avoid walking on the soil until it is workable to prevent further compaction. Check plants for damage and trim any broken or bent stems to reduce disease risk. If mulch is soaked, pull it back temporarily so the soil can dry and breathe. Look for pooled water and gently improve drainage or loosen the soil with a fork to restore airflow. In the days and weeks that follow, watch closely for pests, mold, or fungal disease, as well as signs of nutrient deficiency. Treat promptly with appropriate measures, such as fungicide if needed or a light nitrogen feed if growth looks weak. Adjust watering carefully, some plants may still need moisture, while others require time to dry out. With steady observation and gentle care, your garden can recover well after heavy rainfall.

Get ready to let loose some laughs with the joke of the day. It’s called, “A.M. Means Anytime, Man.”

Marylou asked her cousin:

“How do you like the new radio that I got you for Christmas?”

“It’s nice. But, for about a month, I was only using it in the AM until I realized that I could also use it at night.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Aulacese (Vietnamese), with multiple-language subtitles, from Thành Đạt in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
