In today’s news, international organization and Spanish football league collaborate to enhance migrant integration in Peru, Western Australia’s groundwater recharge rates at 800-year low, Japan builds world’s first 3D-printed railway station, scientists in Germany convert carbon dioxide into jet fuel, Ghanaian peacekeepers empower women in South Sudan, company in United States produces vegan calcium supplement, and study reveals some cat-people can act as therapists for humans.

I was wondering why my vegetable plants yielded many blooms, but not much food. I learned this is because the blooms aren’t pollinated. Therefore, by fostering an environment that is beneficial to pollinators, we can yield more food. Pollinators don’t like hot weather, so we can place shade cloth over our vegetable plants to shield them from the heat. It also helps to provide food and water sources for local pollinators, especially native plants that will attract these pollinators to your garden. Lastly, steer clear of chemical-laden pesticides, which keeps pollinators away.

The joke of the day just messaged us that it will be here any moment now. It’s called “Cool Dudes.”

Two monkey fellas passed by in the jungle and greeted each other.

“Hey man, it’s nice to see you again!”

“You too, dude!”

“You know we should get together and hang out sometime.”

“Hanging out is ALL we do, man.”

And now we have a heartline from Maeve in Australia
