Shining World Compassion Award Recipient: Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries

Founded by vegan animal lovers, Mr. David Walker and Ms. Dwynwen Jones or DJ, the Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries consist of the Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary in Worcestershire and their sister sanctuary, Wiccaweys Rescued Border Collies and Working Sheepdogs in Laughton, UK. Wiccaweys is a non-profit, no-kill sanctuary that rescues abandoned and abused dogs, rehabilitates and gives them basic training before finding them forever homes when possible. They also provide free advice and lifetime support to new human caretakers. Once a dog enters Wiccaweys, they become a permanent family member whether they stay or go to a new home. Wiccaweys has found forever homes for thousands of rescues.
