Experts recommend dedicating 5-10 minutes daily to chin tucks, shoulder shrugs, and neck tilts to release tension in the neck and shoulder regions. These exercises help realign the cervical spine, enhance flexibility, and prevent tension-induced headaches. Combining these movements with warm baths and hourly micro-breaks optimizes soft tissue relaxation. Should symptoms like radiating arm numbness or dizziness occur, immediate medical consultation is necessary to rule out disc-related issues (Thanh Niên)
Kobe University [Japan] researchers develop an AI [artificial intelligence] system that diagnoses acromegaly, a rare, life-shortening endocrine disease, using only hand photos. By analyzing hand and fist images, the highly accurate tool protects privacy, outperforms doctors, and reduces diagnostic delays for this rare hormone disorder (SciTech Daily)
American nutritionist Jillian Kubala asserts that consuming fruit before meals enhances satiety and slashes calorie intake by 18.5%. For blood sugar management, pairing fresh fruit with protein-rich foods after main meals remains the optimal strategy. Ms. Kubala further debunks myths regarding avoiding fruit before bedtime or the necessity of an empty stomach for consumption. Regardless of timing, fruits consistently provide essential fiber and vitamins vital for overall health and disease prevention (Thanh Niên)

Wise quote of the day: “Respect for ourselves guides our morals, respect for others guides our manners.” – Reverend Laurence Sterne Anglo-Irish Novelist and Anglican Cleric (BrainyQuote)
Previously, in Part 1 of 2 of David Maginley’s near-death experience, David described collapsing during a service in a hospital chapel and awakening on a radiant grassy hill that felt like home. Drawn toward a single tree at the top of the hill, he was met by a guide who felt like his closest friend — a being of wisdom, compassion, and unmistakable authority. When David tried to run toward the tree, the guide stopped him gently, inviting him instead into a deeper conversation.
He affirmed that it’s all going to be really good. You’re doing well. And I said, “That’s great. Come on, let’s run to the tree.” I knew if I got to that tree, I’d never come back here. In so many near-death experiences, there’s a point, whether it be a visible such, so to speak, line or object, or just a sense of you can’t go beyond here. There’s always a boundary. And that tree was my boundary. If I had crossed it, I wouldn’t have come back. And he basically said things are going well. You’ve got a lot more work to do. And I know what that meant. It meant I had a lot of growing up to do. And it’s always about the Love. He was like, “You got a lot of growing and evolving in Love to do.” Love is not an emotion. Love is the highest state of consciousness. For God is Love. And he said, “So you can’t stay here.” What do you do with that when you’re embedded, infused, saturated, marinating in Love? When you’re finally, suddenly whole and complete, and not so fractured and messed up?
And I was like, “No way am I going back. Why would I go back? I’m here. I’m home. You’ve got to be kidding.” But I could feel that authority and that compassion. I could feel every truth that he was speaking. There was no way I was going to win the argument. And as much as I protested, he just looked at me, looked into me with this wisdom, and he put his hand on my shoulder, and he just said, “It’s going to be okay. We will be with you.”
David was dead for 15 minutes. When he awoke to doctors and nurses surrounding him, he was devastated to be back. He kept the experience to himself, grieving in silence. Later, attending a therapeutic touch retreat before facing another dangerous surgery, the words he’d heard on that hill would return: “We will be with you.”
I’d gone to this workshop to learn more of therapeutic touch, and I received a treatment from Evelyn McCay, who is a fantastic teacher. And she’s standing there on the side of the bed I’m lying on, and she’s giving me the treatment, and she paused, and she began to weep. And I said, “What’s up?” And she said, “There’s an angel of the Most High across the bed from me.” And this being, this entity, was huge. It went right up. Not just through the ceiling. It’s like the ceiling disappeared or reality changed. I’m looking around, and she’s quiet, and I’m quiet. And then she says, “It’s gone now.” I’m like, “OK, angels never show up without a message. What’s the message?” She said, “The message is it’s going to be very hard this time, but we will be with you.” Now, that’s not comforting; I was going to have the operation two weeks after. But I was filled with joy, and I began to laugh like I was giddy. And my stomach hurt because I was laughing so hard. And I fell asleep laughing.
Two weeks later, he underwent the surgery. In the intensive care unit afterward, his blood pressure suddenly plummeted. Doctors rushed to thread a catheter through his neck into his heart. But David — filled with inexplicable peace — began humming a hymn. The nurse comes back, and she sits down and says, “OK, buddy. What the heck was going on there? People are usually dying or dead. They’re not conscious when we give the drugs we gave you, and you’re lying there singing to us.” And I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I didn’t remember the angel. I just looked at her, and I said, “You seemed stressed. I wanted to help.”
Reflecting on everything he has been through, David — now a psychospiritual therapist — distills his experience into a message about love as the only true spiritual practice. What I’ve arrived at is this. God is Love. So love is your spiritual practice. I’m not interested in the content of your belief as much as I’m interested in the quality of your love. And I’m still doing my homework in that regard. Even if you’ve experienced great trauma, my heart goes out to you. But know that there is a love and a presence and a deep peace and a part of you that can never be injured by what you’ve been through. Seek assistance in processing that trauma so that you can have it without it having you. Focus on your love. (Beyond with Heather Tesch)
