Coming up next is a Northern part of Korea’s pop song. “Unification Dondolari,” is about greeting a new era of unification beyond the national division. The next performance is a folk dance, “Bakpanmoo.” Bakpanmoo is performed in ancient Korean Palaces using gourd board, which demonstrates the uprightness and elegance of the Korean people. Now the cheerful and exhilarating accordion duet will come next. “Good evening, respected Supreme Master Ching Hai. The next song was made by me, because I miss my mother in Northern parts of Korea. I am going to sing this song, thinking of my mother.” “How can I ever forget, even in my dreams, those moments I left behind. I saw your face hiding your tears behind my back. Holding my hands, you said I may go. Stroking me gently in your warm bosom, you said I was the sweetest. All those are your love.” “I think art has no boundaries. So, the fastest way for Korea to be united is through art, expressing our thoughts and sharing our hearts with each other… Art, unlike other means, can lead to many emotions. So, I believe that the understanding and peace can be achieved through art.”
