In this episode Supreme Master Ching Hai explains how initiation comes from the inside, directly from GOD, and will allow us to remember our Heavenly Home, which we have forgotten when we came down to this earthly world.

(“I haven’t heard anything about Quan Yin.”) (“I haven’t heard anything about Quan Yin.”) Yeah. Me neither. Before I heard it, I had never heard it before. I also never saw you before; this is the first time. Everything has to have a first time. You didn’t know your girlfriend before, you didn’t know your husband before, but then you know them, then you like them. You know it; you have just forgotten. At the time of initiation, you will remember. You will not only remember Quan Yin, but you will remember Heaven, you will remember where you’re from, you will know, you will enjoy. When we are born into this physical prison, a veil is drawn in front of our spiritual knowledge, and it makes us forget absolutely everything. That’s why we have to relearn again. OK? Oh! Thank you. The Lotus Sutra belongs to a Buddhist literature treasure of doctrine. People have all kinds of preferences – for example, bowing to the Sutra, I mean the Buddhist Bible, bowing to the Buddha statue, or reciting the Buddha’s Name with beads, a rosary, etc, etc. So this is the “Namo Lotus Sutra.” This is one of the preferences of the Buddhist believers. Of course, when you’re sincere, and you concentrate on something, you will have some results. It’s not the Lotus Bible that gives you results; it is your sincerity. Our method is going directly into the essence of the Buddhahood or the Kingdom of GOD. We don’t recite any names in the Bible.
Alright? And what should I think of the Guru Maharaj Ji? (Yes. “And if You know and can answer, what do You think of the Guru Maharaj Ji?”) I don’t know him. I’ve just heard of him. He’s a very nice man, I guess. He teaches people all the good things. He’s one of the great teachers. And if you think you like him, like his teaching, go directly and ask him. It takes a long time to know a Master. You cannot just comment on anybody in one minute.
Any Teacher who offers you the Truth, who offers you to see the (inner Heavenly) Light, and who offers you to hear the Teaching of GOD – the Word inside, the (inner Heavenly) Sound inside, the Music inside – He is a great Teacher. And the higher He can lead you into the mansion of GOD, the higher His level of attainment. If, at least, He can lead you to the Fifth Level and to face GOD, then He can prove Himself to be the representative of the Kingdom. And this kind of Teachers, They offer Their service free of charge, forever. So there you are, you can choose. At least it’s some kind of guideline, qualification.
Also, He has to be able to manifest Himself in many places at the same time, wherever. That Teacher must be omnipresent before He can teach the world, because omnipresence is the quality of GOD. And if He or She is omnipresent, it means She is one with GOD. Yes. So, in case you want to shop for a Teacher, bear in mind these qualities that I have mentioned. So that you don’t waste too much time – your precious time. Thank you.
(“I want to love others, but there are dangerous people in this world who want to hurt us and take advantage of us. Do I have to fight them to keep them away from me?”) (“I want to love others, but in this world, there are dangerous people who want to harm us, to take advantage of us. Do I have to fight them back to keep them away?”) If you have to. And if you want to do it, then you do it. If you have to protect your family and yourself, then you try to defend yourself. And if you think that it all comes from GOD anyway, you surrender yourself to whatever happens, then you have the second choice also.

But He’s not in this world. If you want to hear about Him, you can ask for the past tapes; maybe they recorded them. I would like to talk more about you, because you are the present Masters. It’s more important that you become Masters. And save yourself and know your wisdom. It’s doing you more good than knowing any past Masters. Thank you.

That’s why sometimes patients have some kind of disease, and the doctor gives all kinds of treatments, but it’s not even healed. Because some sicknesses come from deeper inside the consciousness. In that case, we need GOD consciousness to heal it. And when the person is awakened within himself, GOD consciousness and everything comes almost automatically.
