In today’s news, Qatari relief organization provides winter clothing to Yemeni school children in need, West Antarctic glaciers losing ice at an accelerating rate, California, USA company bringing solar-charged electric car to market, desert greening projects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region highly successful, Australian police save companion animals from shop fire, United Kingdom vegan chocolate company debuts tasty new offering, and Maryland, USA bans wildlife killing contests for certain species.

Qatari charity provides winter garments to underprivileged youth in Yemen.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is distributing 18,000 winterization kits to school children of impoverished and displaced Yemeni families. Provided in partnership with the Yemen Red Crescent Society and Yemen’s Ministry of Education, each kit contains a warm coat, shoes, socks and jeans, among other items. It is hoped the supplies will help protect students from common cold season illnesses, reduce school absenteeism, and motivate them to study well. Most recipients’ parents cannot afford winter clothes for their children. The project is part of QRCS’s Warm Winter initiative, which will provide nearly US$1,000,000 in shelter and food assistance to 84,711 beneficiaries in various countries. QRCS is a Shining World Compassion Award laureate. Our deep gratitude, Qatar Red Crescent Society and partners, for your loving care. May Allah bless all children with safety and warmth as we move into a brighter future.

West Antarctic glaciers melting at ever-faster rate.

A scientific team from the University of Leeds, UK, and elsewhere, recently calculated the melting speed of the Getz glaciers in West Antarctica between 1994 and 2018. They discovered that the ice loss rate is accelerating, with 315 billion metric tons of ice having disappeared during this period, enough to raise the global mean sea level by almost one millimeter. Also, the mean melting pace increased by almost 25% for the 14 glaciers, with three glaciers jumping by 44%-plus. The situation is likely being caused by warm seawater currents getting underneath the ocean-facing portions of the glaciers. Thank you, University of Leeds scientists and all involved, for your timely research about the alarming rate of Antarctica’s glacier ice melt and elevating ocean levels. May your work help reinforce to humanity the urgent need to save our warming planet, with the vegan diet being the foremost solution, in God’s upliftment.

Up next, California, USA company bringing solar-charged electric car to market. We are now going to thank the astronauts, who travel into space beyond our Earth’s atmosphere to serve as a spacecraft crew members, conduct experiments, or perform other activities related to space exploration. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more energizing news.

Hi, joyful friends, I’m Queenie the vegan Tiger Quoll. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary? Embody compassion and adopt the vegan lifestyle. Here is a simple way you can create your own chalkboard label. To make the writing surface, spread chalkboard paint on one side of a metal box or bin. When the content of the box changes, just easily wipe off the chalk and relabel it. Chalkboard paint can be applied to the majority of non-porous surfaces. You can also make your own adhesive or magnetic labels by using mailing labels or refrigerator magnets. Thank you for your attention, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

American company unveils futuristic solar electric car.

Aptera Motors, headquartered in San Diego, California, United States, is in the process of developing the world’s first mass-produced commercial solar-charged vehicle. Expected to reach the market by the end of 2021, it has an incredible range of up to almost 1,610 kilometers when fully charged. The design leverages aerodynamic principles to reduce drag or air resistance, and the manufacturer says the model is 4-times more efficient compared to today’s typical electric vehicles. Covered in over three square meters of solar cells, the panels add up to 64 kilometers in range daily when the car is parked in the sun for a day. For this reason, the model has been nicknamed the “Never-Charge” solar car. Kudos, Aptera Motors, for working to give consumers a next-level green transport option! We look forward to the day that all vehicles can be powered by our benevolent Sun, in the grace of the Divine.

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s desert greening projects demonstrate broad-reaching benefits.

Recent endeavors to green the deserts of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China have been highly successful, resulting in 40% of the area now being covered in flora. Each year for the last five years, 800,000 hectares of land have been seeded with vegetation, including special drought and cold-tolerant plant species, which have helped to increase precipitation and decrease the number of sandstorms locally. Specialized planting technology has been used here to conserve water, minimize soil disturbance, and plant trees in seconds. Regional authorities have also prohibited animal livestock pasture grazing and logging and are restoring the land’s ecology. Exceptional news, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on successfully converting your deserts back to green zones. In Buddha’s mercy, may these spaces continue to thrive as your diligent actions improve the lives of countless beings.

Australian police rescue puppies from burning shop.

Australian police from the Gold Coast in Queensland recently saved 12 puppies and two cats who were inside an animal companion shop that had caught fire. The blaze started after spreading from an adjacent motorbike store, and the police were alerted to the situation by the animal companion shop’s owner, who called and informed them of the animals’ presence within the building. Despite being in close proximity to the conflagration, the officers were able to enter the premises, find the puppies’ and cats’ cages and safely bring them out. Our deep appreciation, Gold Coast police, for your heroic actions to save the canines and felines inside the store. In the love of Heaven, may the puppies grow up to be healthy adults and the cats remain robust as all find loving homes.

Coming up, United Kingdom vegan chocolate company debuts new offering. We’ll just pause for a moment to be thankful when we can get an extra hour of sleep during the weekend. More significant news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – High-thinking News for an Optimistic World.

Popular United Kingdom vegan chocolate brand launches delicious new product.

The family-operated vegan company LoveRaw has released a white chocolate version of its top-selling vegan Cre&m Wafer Bar. The bar is free from palm oil and dairy and will be available online and later in-store across a number of retailers. The enterprise has already won several awards last year, including “Best Dairy Product Alternative” at the World Plant-Based Awards and “Family Business Entrepreneurs of the Year” at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020. LoveRaw recently reported that its e-commerce store’s sales have risen a remarkable 2005% from 2019. Manav Thapar, the co-founder of LoveRaw, commented: “[W]e wanted to… give our customers a brand-new product to get excited about during a time when everything else is so uncertain.” A round of applause, LoveRaw, for providing chocolate lovers with such delectable vegan treats! In Divine grace, may a vegan lifestyle soon be the choice of all.

State of Maryland legislature passes bill banning killing of certain wildlife in contests.

Maryland, United States’ legislative assembly has voted to outlaw inhumane wildlife killing contests that target raccoons, coyotes, and foxes. This heartless activity results in hundreds of animals being killed in a single weekend while leaving a large number of juveniles orphaned. The young then succumb to starvation or other dangers. Maryland’s governor, the Honorable Larry Hogan, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, is expected to sign the legislation into law. Maryland would then become the eighth state to prohibit the gruesome practice following the benevolent example of Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Vermont, and Washington. With sincerity and gratitude, we thank you, Maryland legislature, for protecting our animal friends. May all governments value the precious lives of our animal co-inhabitants, in the love of the Providence.

Now it’s time to relax and laugh with us. Here comes the joke of the day called, “Tour Guide.”

On a school trip to a history museum, the young students went to see an exhibit on an ancient kingdom they had been studying. The teacher then decided to quiz them.

“Brian, whose skeleton is that?”

“It’s from an old king.”

“And the smaller one next to it?”

“It’s the old king when he was a child.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Thanh Quang in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Master, I would like to share with You that recently, there are many positive changes in the world, including my family. Since I encouraged my elder sister and youngest brother to watch Supreme Master Television and Master’s teachings, after a short period of time, my brother became vegan and wished to get initiated by Master. My elder sister has been a vegan for nearly four months and also wants to follow You. This is a great happiness in my life. I knew that it was thanks to Your boundless Grace these miracles happened. Thank You so, so much. I will always love You forever. I wish You to be always healthy and absolutely beautiful! I pray to the Almighty Godses (of the Ihôs Kư) to always protect You! I would like to thank the Supreme Master Television team for your noble contributions. My best wishes to you, the great heroes of humanity! Thanh Quang from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

It is always a pleasure for me to help in any way I can, for I wish spiritual enlightenment for every being, especially humans.
