In today’s news, European Union helps vulnerable families in Zambia, report shows extensive biodiversity loss caused by humanity, mangrove restoration projects underway in China, wind energy on the rise in Italy, boy raises funds to support single moms, smartphone app assists adopting plant-based lifestyle and generous company donates inhalers to special care donkeys in the United Kingdom.

European Union supports Zambian families affected by COVID-19.

The European Union contributed €5 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to be used to help provide cash aid to 655,000 food insecure individuals in the Zambian cities of Livingstone and Kitwe, in addition to Kafue and the capital city of Lusaka, both of which the WFP is already serving. Each beneficiary family will receive €18.5 a month for six months for food. WFP’s cash assistance program prioritizes those earning their livelihoods in the informal sector, the elderly and people living with disabilities or chronic illness who are not able to meet food needs due to the economic impacts of the pandemic. European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate. Our sincere appreciation, European Union. We pray that the fine people of Zambia soon greet a prosperous future in the goodwill of the Divine.

World Wildlife Fund reports tragic reduction in wildlife due to humans.

The World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF)’s annual Living Planet Report, a joint effort of WWF International and the United Kingdom-based Zoological Society of London, recently detailed a “catastrophic decline” in wildlife due to human caused deforestation and over-consumption of resources. About 125 experts contributed to the report, which outlined that in the last 50 years wildlife populations have decreased by over two thirds as human activity has severely degraded 40% of the oceans and 75% of all land. The report states that we are over-consuming Earth’s resources by more than 50% of the planet’s capacity to regenerate them. World Wildlife Fund is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. Many thanks, World Wildlife Fund and Zoological Society of London, for sharing this urgent news on the unsustainability of humanity’s present way of living. We pray all people will make more lives-saving choices, including modifying their diets to be eco-friendly, green and vegan, to preserve our world and all her inhabitants, in God’s mercy.

Up next, mangrove restoration projects progress in China. Let’s take a moment to appreciate opera singers, who tell stories through their powerful vocals and theatrical excellence. Please stay for more assuring news on Supreme Master Television.

Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Franny the vegan Fennec Fox. People say I have intuitive understandings and insights. Want to enhance your intuition? Switch over to a vegan diet and you’ll be fabulous – like me! Here’s a tip on how to smooth out the split ends in your hair. Just rub a pea-sized quantity of coconut oil between your hands and massage it through the ends of your hair. Your hair should be dry prior to applying it, and be careful not to use an excessive amount. Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

China conserving mangrove forests.

China has announced plans to plant and restore 18,800 hectares of mangrove forests over the next five years to help protect coastal communities from the effects of global warming including storms and rising sea levels, as well as sequester large amounts of carbon dioxide. The mangroves will also provide homes for fish and other water dwelling life. In the past, China has established 52 mangrove nature reserves to help safeguard this highly important species. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Wildlife-Protection and Compassionate Protection laureate. Our gratefulness, China, for helping to preserve the natural environment of your nation. May your project result in healthy and flourishing mangrove forests, in Heaven’s splendor.

Italy makes way for a 14.4-megawatt wind farm.

Italy-headquartered renewable energy company Enel Green Power recently began constructing the Partanna wind farm in Trapani Province on the island of Sicily. When fully operational in April 2021, the facility will produce approximately 40 gigawatt-hours of electricity annually, enough for about 10,000 homes. Furthermore, it will reduce around 33,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year in alignment with Italy’s decarbonization agenda. Exciting clean energy developments, Italy and Enel Green Power! May the Providence bless us with favorable windy and sunny weather to help power our world in eco-friendly ways.

Youngster sells lemonade to help single mothers.

With the support of family and neighborhood friends, 11-year-old Cartier Carey, from Hampton, Virginia, United States, set up a lemonade stand in his front yard to raise funds to supply diapers, wipes and other supplies to single mothers struggling financially during the coronavirus pandemic. Cartier has been able to purchase more than 22,000 of the needed items, which have been distributed to local churches and shelters or kept near the lemonade stand for grateful mothers to pick up. A GoFundMe page set up to support the benevolent project has raised over US$33,000. The compassionate youngster, who started the non-profit Kids4Change last year to help individuals in need in his community, intends to continue his stand as he participates in remote schooling. We thankfully applaud your tender heart, Cartier Carey. May many mothers be helped by your donations as people are uplifted and inspired by your noble example, in Divine love. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present Cartier Carey the Shining World Compassion Award, plus a US$10,000 humble contribution toward this caring project, with lots of love and praises. May Heaven bless you abundantly for your kind heart.”

Up next on Noteworthy News, smartphone app assists adopting plant-based lifestyle. It’s time for us to pray for the people and animals currently affected by wildfires in different parts of the world. We’ll return with more gladdening news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Inspirational News for a Beautiful World.

New app promotes the plant-based lifestyle.

ProVeg, an international food awareness organization, has recently launched its new app ‘Veggie Challenge’ promoting the plant-based diet. Veggie Challenge makes it easy to explore a veg diet, by offering people three choices: 30 days less meat, 30 days vegetarian, and 30 days vegan. The app provides hundreds of recipes, free coaching, weekly meal plans and the support of a lively community. Over 250,000 people have already participated in the free 30-day challenge. The organization shared that there has “never been a better time to explore your food choices” as more people become aware of the tremendous benefits of plant-rich eating. According to ProVeg’s website, it has the goal of transforming “the global food system by replacing conventional animal-based products with plant-based and cultivated alternatives.” A big thumbs up on your new app, ProVeg. In Heaven’s compassionate guidance, may we soon live in a vegan world!

Generous company donates inhalers to special care donkeys in the United Kingdom.

BreathEazy, a UK-based animal respiratory aids specialist, has donated two Flexinebs to help donkeys with breathing difficulties at The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary. Developed by Ireland-based company Nortev, Flexineb is an innovative and clinically proven veterinary medical device used for the treatment of respiratory problems in equines. At its shelter in UK’s Cornwall county, The Flicka Foundation is currently tending to approximately 100 donkeys, horses and ponies, while having rescued and rehabilitated more than 1,000 animals since its inception in 1995. Many of the sweet donkey residents are of advanced age and suffer from chronic breathing problems as a consequence of previous mistreatment. Our warm thanks, BreathEazy, for your caring gift. May Heaven bless you, The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary and all its precious residents. In God’s eternal kindness, may we always be loving stewards of our adorable animal friends.

How about a joke of the day to bring out a smile? This one’s called “Mom.”

Little Monica, who is in kindergarten, came into school one morning and told her teacher she could spell her mom’s name.

“M-O-M!”

“That’s how you spell my mom’s name too!”

And now we have a heartline from Urnaa in Mongolia:

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Supreme Master TV which always shares wonderful news and information radiating great energy of love and joy! I am writing this letter to you after seeing a wonderful news story that Buddhist monks and others had met the owner of a meat processing plant and convinced him to stop his business and free the animals I was in tears because of the joy I felt in my heart, and I immediately felt a need to write to Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team to express my deepest gratitude. I was so moved seeing the owner of the meat plant praying and taking an oath that he will never harm animals again. The animals given their freedom were so happy; I could feel it. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team for their hard work and blessing to help humanity turn back to original God-like beings. Urnaa from Mongolia

Harmonious Urnaa, Reading your heartline was a great joy. Bravo to the rescuers for helping to awaken compassion in another human to achieve such a glorious result. Supreme Master Ching Hai’s channel is indeed so full of uplifting stories and reminds us of the inner greatness within. As God’s children, we can all play a positive part in creating Heaven on Earth where all beings live a blissful life together. May the lovely Mongolian people enjoy ever brighter days and sunshine ahead, bringing happiness to all souls of your beloved country. In Buddha’s grace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master had some words for you: “Devoted Urnaa, I, too, was overjoyed to see the man's heart change and that tens of thousands of animals were saved in northern China by the brave rescuers. For all animals on our planet to be set free, please pray for World Vegan and ask those around you to do the same. Buddha’s infinite love to you and grand Mongolia.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
