Previously in Part 1 of this three-part series on Hertha Lund’s near-death experience, Hertha recounted her childhood trauma, years of chronic pain, and hospitalization for pain around her heart. While in the hospital, she saw other patients die and realized she, too, could die. She spoke to GOD about that possibility and her longing to go Home to Him. In Part 2, Hertha recounts becoming one with a vast tube of white and gold Light, the promise she made to GOD before returning to her body, and the first steps of her recovery. As she lay in her hospital bed, Hertha thought about her husband and the love they shared. She believed he would miss her if she died, but that he would eventually be able to cope with her loss.
I thought about my dogs and my horses and everything I loved. I thought about GOD. And then I had to kind of chuckle, literally, because I’m like, “It’s true. I’m dying. I’m about to leave my body. And I am not thinking about success, my lawsuits, the money I’ve made, the things I’ve won, the saddles I’ve won, the whatever, this or that.” None of that was in my mind. All I thought about was who and what I loved. And all of a sudden, I just went up, up, up, in this white and gold shimmery Light. And this tube of Light was bigger than the Universe. I mean, and when we’re out of our bodies in that consciousness, there is no time or space. And so, I’m one with this Light. Somebody asked me, “Did you see GOD?” And I’m like, “No, no, GOD was inside of me.” I mean, I was one with the Light, and it just took me up and up and up. I felt like a little four-year-old running to my Heavenly Parent’s lap, free, joy, totally worthy. As she continued upward in the Light, Hertha felt she was about to meet a male being who had helped care for her soul as a mentor and teacher.
I suddenly realized I had a reason for coming to Earth and being in this body, and I hadn’t done it yet. And so, I went really deep in my gut, in my being, and I thought I only had a nanosecond. So I decided. I said, “I’ll do whatever it takes to heal and get in my body.” And as soon as I did that, I just fell out of the sky, right back into my body. And it was horrible because my body was so sick, from going from that high consciousness and then getting into my sick, heavy body. […] It was pretty bad. So I was given the gift of coming back. I was not given the gift of instantaneous healing.
Hertha committed herself to keeping her promise to GOD to do whatever it took to heal. Following what she understood as HIS guidance, she first worked on learning to sleep, after years of pain had prevented her from resting properly. She briefly used prescription medication and also worked on habits that support better sleep, along with other approaches. About two and a half years later, she woke one morning, thumped her chest, and told her husband she was a championship sleeper. Learning to sleep was only one part of Hertha’s recovery. Looking back at how ill she had been around the time of her hospitalization, she says a blood marker of inflammation had reached 197. According to Hertha, even a reading of seven would concern doctors. She remained seriously ill after leaving the hospital and pursued several approaches to healing.
My mission now is to spark a revolution for wholeness, one heart at a time, and that’s the way we will change the outer world into the place we dream of. Join us tomorrow for the third and final part of this series, as Hertha shares how her healing journey changed her relationship with GOD and her body. She also recounts finding greater joy and peace in everyday life and helping others pursue their own healing alongside her horses. (She Owns Success TV YouTube channel - Thank you)
