On March 20, 2024, “Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret” debuted in cinemas globally, generating enormous interest around the world. We surveyed randomly selected viewers in U.S. theaters to explore the factors contributing to its success and popularity. What's the main message you took away from the film? “Compassion and every life matters You’re told to love your neighbor, and your neighbor includes animals, not just human beings. ”“He (Jesus) [did] not allow killing of anything. Yeah, anything.”“There really is no, no spiritual, no morally correct way to kill an animal.”“This movie is called Christspiracy. But it is not a movie only about Lord Jesus Christ or Christians. This is a movie that definitely can speak to all religions and all religious followers.”“It really sort of dissects the teachings of Christ around compassion, and his viewpoint around eating meat and animals, and extending the compassion and the ethics beyond humans to animals.”“It’s very selfish of us to think that us, as humans, are more important than any other species, just based on arbitrary factors such as intelligence or our physical capabilities.
