The World Is Full of Subtle and Not-so-subtle Negative Influences. It Is Very Important that We Guard Ourselves in Mind, Body, and Spirit, and Be Careful in Selecting Company We Keep

Dear United Trinity Utmost Powerful, Thank You so much for granting us this salvation. Thank You for saving my daughter. I feel that the negative power is searching each of us, looking for small chinks, and that the retribution for even small transgressions is greater now than ever before.

Lately, my teenage child has attended a boxing club, for the purpose of fitness, having been assured that she did not have to participate in the fighting part. Her character had changed after just two sessions, and she lost interest in studying, just weeks before her final exams. She would not listen to me and made me the enemy. I saw that the combination of the contact with the boy who introduced her to boxing, the negative content that most young people’s media is full of, and the aggression of the members in the club, had allowed the negative power to attach to her and direct her thoughts, feelings, and actions, for we absorb what we connect with.

We had an initiation ceremony lately, and I prayed for whatever goodness that came to me through that, to benefit my family. Twenty-four hours later, I was awoken in the night by a loud whisper, “Mum!” and a wispy figure was standing there for a moment. My daughter’s soul was calling me for help. I ran around switching back on all the devices around the house to play The Most Powerful Daily Prayer and sat for Quan Yin meditation, hoping to give power to her soul’s attempts to escape the negative power.

The next morning when we sat down for meditation, I told her about the whisper and the ghostly figure. Immediately she said, “It’s the boxing, isn’t it?” Deep down, she knew that she had broken the non-harming precept by entering the boxing club and undertaking their instructions, for although her intentions were non-violent, she saw that theirs were not, and she was being influenced by this violent intent.

How easily we can break a precept in thought, word, or deed, and how quickly we become attached to it by the negative power! However, with sincere repentance, all can be healed, and I deeply thank Master for bringing my daughter back to safety, wisdom, and love.
