Entre Maître et disciples
Shiva's 112 Ways of Concentration

Now, 104: “Wherever your attention alights, at this very point, experience.” When you can master your concentration, at that time, you have inner experiences. Is that not so? Easy, we all know this already. No need for Him (Lord Shiva) to tell us. I don’t know why He says so many things we already know.105: “Enter the sound of your name, and through this sound, enter all Sounds.” Sounds of the Uni

Number 94: “Let attention be at a place where you are seeing some past happening, and even your form, having lost its present characteristics, is transformed.” Perhaps when you meditate, you see some of the past events of your previous lives, or this life, or maybe you have seen your form as well. Sometimes you meditate, you have left your physical donkey on the cushion, and you fly above and you

Now, 86: “Roam about until exhausted, and then, dropping to the ground, in this dropping be whole.” OK, try. Tomorrow you run around Hsihu 5,000 times, this center, and then drop dead in the middle of there – and be whole. Make sure your legs, your arms, are still whole there. At that time, when you’re already exhausted, body and mind – at least bodily – then the mind will leave you alone because

[Number] 81: “The appreciation of objects and subjects is the same for an enlightened person as well as for an unenlightened person. The former” means the enlightened one “has one greatness:” That is, “he remains in the subjective mood, not lost in the object.” In the mood only. “Subjective mood and not lost in the things.” That’s very nice. Suppose I want a house and I just remain in the mood of

Simple life. If you go on holiday, you just go straight to Miaoli. There’s nowhere… You see, Christmas, you don’t have to buy anything. No turkey(-people) meat. No Christmas tree nonsense, all this. No cutting any trees. You just go straight on the airplane and land in Hsihu. It’s a very simple life now, indeed. (Yes.) Yeah. And when you went on holiday before, you would pack a lot of useless stuf

Number 73. Before that was number 72? If I say 73, now you make it 72. Now this is the real 73. Number 72 is now supposed to be number 73? It is very important, the number. Now, this is 72, but [it] becomes 73. “Before desire and before knowing, how can I say I am? Consider.” Consider this mystical, nonsensical koan and then, “Dissolve in the Beauty.” The Beauty – this means the One, the Almighty,

Aha! Improved. Both sides improved. Yeah, looks better. I thought you meditate. Never mind. Since you don’t meditate, OK, you don’t meditate. It’s cold, huh, today? (Yes.) Better than yesterday. The cold has become “better.” It’s colder. Today, the men have “eaten” the line, and the women are “thrown out.” It’s funny. You always do things in such an extreme way. Very drastic change. (Yes.) Funny.

[Number] 68: Oh, God. “Pierce some part of your nectar-filled form with a pin and gently enter the piercing.” Pierce yourself with a pin. Let’s see. Where? Oh, I make myself a pimple. Alright. No. Oh what? No, no, no, I cannot. I cannot enter the piercing, sorry, I don’t like it. Actually, in the old times, there were such practices like this. When people were so desperate for enlightenment, They’

Don’t think, if you are a weak husband, an obedient husband in such a “nice,” stupid way, that your family will be in order. It’s not true, it’s not a way to make peace in the family. You just make it more of a mess, because you give your wife the opportunity to disrespect you and to climb more and more on top of you, and then everything is out of proportion. You must know where to stand and what

In a family, a man must be a man. To make a good example for your sons later. And a woman should be a woman, to make a good example of femininity for the daughters in the future. Each one must have their place and take care of their own duty. You do your best. You go out to earn your money and you take care of your family. You love your wife and be faithful, as I have taught you. […] Don’t you eve

Today, I’m facing the boys because you always push them to the end of the world. And it doesn’t matter how I arrange, you still sit in front of me. And you keep pushing until I myself feel pressure. I really do feel pressure when somebody is pushed to the limit. I feel pressure every time. So today, I’m facing the boys, so don’t ask me why. It’s Sunday also, you see, all the boys are pushed until

There was another rabbi, his name was Pinas, something like that. He entered the meditation place, and many disciples were gathering together and talking. So the rabbi asked them, “What are you talking about?” So, all the disciples were telling him, perhaps the ones who prepared to be priests, or to be rabbis in Judaism. So the rabbi asked them what they were discussing. So the male priest said, “

(Tomorrow morning.) You were invited, but you missed your chance. Perhaps you have learned the art of invisibility, we can’t find you. Too bad, just to let you know now. So your mouth can water. OK. All this you know. I don’t understand. Enraged in wrath. I don’t understand why you should be angry like that. Alright? I must be more enlightened to understand all these unenlightened things. That’s why many people in India, they practice a form of yoga called Tantra yoga. That means they practice the act of lovemaking without having it come to an end. They just continue the activity but they do not let the fluid of the body come out. Now you understand? (Yes.) The fluid of the man will make a woman pregnant and have children. If they stop that fluid from within themselves, that’s what

This is a very bad one, but maybe it’s funny. There were two people selling furniture in the market, and the first person asked the second, “I don’t know how you manage to sell it so cheaply; even if I sell it at the base cost, without any interest at all, without any gain at all, I could only make four dollars apiece. And you sell it for two dollars, how come?” So the other person said, “Well, yo

There was one lady who boasted about how marvelous her doctor was. She said, “Wow, my doctor is terrific. He can find out anything that’s wrong with you. No problem, doesn’t even talk to you and is checking so much. You should go and see my doctor there.” So the other lady said, “Why? But I’m healthy. I don’t need a doctor right now. I have nothing wrong with me. I have no sickness, nothing wrong.

Both of the economy ministers met somewhere, maybe in Moscow or New York, who cares. And they talked about both countries. This is not political. It is very funny. And the Russian minister asked the American minister, “How much do
