The systems in many countries, like the water system, are so wasteful. They use all clean water for toilet and bathroom and everything. It’s a lot of waste of energy and water. I think should use two systems, one for washing and flushing, and one for cooking and drinking. You can use the recycled water for gardening or for bathrooms. Rainwater is very good for drinking, less money, less karma. Try to just simplify life and use less resources. You use the eco-friendly lights. Outside in the yards, you can buy those solar lamps.
