Stay safe by sticking to vehicle safety rules. Here are some child safety passenger guidelines for parents. Once your child outgrows their forward-facing car seat, get them a booster seat secured in the back seat. Typically, they will need a booster seat until the ages of 9 to 12. To see if they can sit without a booster seat, perform a five-step test recommended by Nationwide Children’s Hospital. First, have your child position their back and bottom flat against the seat of the car. Then make sure the shoulder belt fits snugly across the center of their chest and shoulder, and the lap belt fits properly, low across their hips. Their knees have to bend at the edge of the seat with their feet on the ground. If they can complete all five steps simultaneously, then they are safe to sit in the back seat without a booster seat. Additionally, know that only children above the age of 12 should sit in the front passenger seat according to CDC recommendations.

The joke of the day is soft on the delivery but strong on smiles. It’s called “Tackle or Transplant?”

After passing his driver’s test, Nico’s grandson was asked to sign up to be an organ donor. Unsure if he should do it, he asked his grandpa:

“Grandpa, if I become a donor, will it affect my football playing?”
