In today’s news, the EU adds support for helpless migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, authorities in Brazil prosecute group for selling horse-people meat, researchers discover how plants make an anti-cancer compound, Palestinian man converts waste into reusable items, woman in Peru nourishes individuals from the wildlife kingdom, ranchers in the United States grow peas for vegan plant-based meat, and firefighters in the UK save dog-adventurer trapped underground.

Vulnerable individuals await emergency assistance.

Over 1,000 migrants are stranded in Bosnia and Herzegovina without sufficient shelter or essential services. Since the influx began in 2018, the European Union has supplied the country with more than €100 million to meet the needs of over 84,000 refugees and asylum seekers. But many people are still sleeping outdoors and lack water, food, clothes, sanitation and healthcare. In response, the EU has donated an additional €2.5 million for humanitarian aid. Aside from covering the basics, the funds will help provide psychosocial support and ensure the safety of unaccompanied children. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our profound gratitude, European Union, for contributing to the well-being of persons in need. We pray for the security and dignity of our brothers and sisters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Divinity’s all-embracing love.

Government agents apprehend suspected criminals.

When authorities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, received information about the possible sale of horse-people meat, the Public Prosecutor’s Office launched a formal inquiry. After two months and 15 search and seizure warrants, investigators found that a group of six individuals had marketed the flesh of individuals from the horse kingdom to businesses that use ground beef. An analysis of hamburgers sold in the city of Caxias do Sul revealed the presence of DNA belonging to equine-nobility. At the height of the illegal operation, the perpetrators distributed approximately 800 kilograms of illicit meat weekly. Officials say their work is ongoing to determine whether restaurant owners were complicit in the crime. Brazil is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection, Compassion, Environmental Preservation and Environmental Protection, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Sustainability, Earth Preservation and Compassion. Many thanks, Brazilian agencies and law enforcement personnel for arresting those involved in slaughtering horse-folk for profit. In Heaven’s elevating wisdom, may all meat products made from animal-people be universally banned forever. Vegan: the world is thanking u.

Up next, researchers discover how plants make an anti-cancer compound. Let’s take a moment to thank the children’s book authors who make reading fun for kids and help them develop cognitive skills they will use later on in school. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beneficial news.

Hallo, optimistic friends! I’m Cory, a vegan little dude from the Clownfish kingdom. I’m pleased to say I’ve turned over a new leaf since I went vegan. The lifestyle is refreshingly different, and I highly recommend that you give it a try. Here’s a tip for those of you with canine companions. If winter brings snow and ice to the area where you live, then your furry friends can get salt, antifreeze and other chemical compounds on their paws when they go outside. Please be aware that these substances are toxic and potentially lethal if swallowed. Therefore, you should clean dog-people’s feet as soon as they come back inside. And while you’re at it, examine their pads for any cuts or cracks that need medical attention. Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Biochemical advancement has pharmaceutical potential.

Researchers at three schools collaborated to understand the formation of certain substances in thyme and oregano. The metabolites thymol, carvacrol, and thymohydroquinone give the herbs their characteristic flavors and have properties that benefit human health. Thymohydroquinone is especially interesting because it has been shown to suppress tumors. The scientific team, co-led by Dr. Natalia Dudareva at Purdue University in the United States, screened over 80,000 genes from plant samples to discover how the chemical is made in nature. Commenting on the results, Dr. Dudareva said, “By understanding how these compounds are formed, we open a path to engineering plants with higher levels of them or to synthesizing the compounds in microorganisms for medical use.” What a remarkable achievement, university researchers! May your work lead to a potent plant-based treatment for cancer and save many lives, in Cosmic benevolence.

Mindful citizen promotes a culture of reuse.

Ayman Abed Rabu of the West Bank in Palestine was sad about the trash in the streets of his neighborhood. As an employee of the Environmental Quality Authority, he knows that aside from being unsightly, persistent pollution can affect people’s health. So, he began a personal campaign to limit his household’s garbage. He fashioned vases and toys for his children from discarded plastic; old rubber tires became garden planters; he turned organic waste into compost. After a while, neighbors asked Mr. Abed Rabu to share his methods with them. Now, he conducts workshops at schools for teachers and students. The eco-friendly activist says, “We should raise a new generation that is interested in keeping our environment clean, healthy, and safe.” We heartily applaud your noble efforts, Mr. Abed Rabu. May we all take responsibility for cleanliness and conservation, in Allah’s expanding Light.

New documentary portrays a woman’s love for animal-people.

Magali Salinas sold her possessions in 2005 to found the Amazon Shelter in Tambopata Peru. It is a region plagued by illegal human activities that separate native fauna-folk from their homes and families. Ms. Salinas and her team care for various species, but they specialize in rehabilitating individuals from the howler monkey kingdom and returning them to their habitat. In the short “Magali,” director and producer Nick Werber highlights the motherly concern Ms. Salinas has for all the animal-people in her life. She says, “They have just as many rights as humans. I care for them as if they were my own children.” Our hearts are touched, Magali Salinas, by your tireless dedication to people from the wildlife kingdom, and we celebrate Nick Werber’s excellent filmmaking. May all earthlings enjoy peaceful and fulfilling lives, in Celestial blessings. Vegan: cuz we r not satan!

Coming up, ranchers in the United States grow peas for vegan plant-based meat. We will take a moment to appreciate the vegan bakers who bring us joy by making cookies, cakes, and pastries with exclusively plant-based ingredients. More giving news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Excellent News for a Loving World.

New crops boost the land’s productivity.

An increasing number of cattle-people farmers in Nebraska, USA, are cultivating peas to meet the growing demand for plant proteins. Families that have been ranchers for generations are partnering with companies like Puris, which supplies pea protein to Beyond Meat. Puris says it is “pushing plant-based innovation into the mainstream.” Its pea production in Nebraska has been up 81% since 2019. In 2021, Ingredion opened an advanced processing facility in the state and became the first company in North America to produce pea protein isolates and starch. Underlying these developments is the specter of irreversible climate change if greenhouse gas emissions from the meat industry are not dramatically reduced soon. We are gladdened, Nebraskan farmers, by your promising transition to harvesting vegetables instead of sentient beings. In Heavenly enchantment, may you additionally reap untold blessings for making enlightened choices that safeguard humanity’s future.

Fire crews come to the rescue.

An 11-year-old canine-gentleman named Freddy ran away while on a morning walk with his caregiver in Birmingham, England. Richard Hill searched in vain for his furry friend until sunset. When he returned the next day, Mr. Hill heard Freddy crying for help and traced the sounds to a burrow in Sutton Park. Upon calling 999, West Midlands Fire Service arrived promptly, and the men began digging. They were joined by personnel from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and the fire station in Wednesbury. After about two hours of hard work, the four-legged adventurer was able to run out of the hole unscathed. Congratulations, Freddy, on regaining your freedom! And a big round of applause for Mr. Hill and the dedicated emergency responders. In God’s Mercy, may our oneness as planetary co-inhabitants always lead to an uplifting outcome.

Are you feeling bored on the treadmill of life? Then it’s time for a laugh with our joke of the day called “Foreseeing the Future.”

A father was carrying his 3-year-old son up the stairs to his bedroom one evening and commented:

“Someday, when you’re older, maybe we’ll trade places, and you can carry me up the stairs.”

The little boy thought about this for a moment and then asked:

“But Dad, will you be any smaller then?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Zi-Ying in China:

Hallo, Supreme Master TV team! Some time ago, you broadcasted a program interviewing the vegan artist, Ms. Elen Ture, whose mural titled “The Forgotten Ones” vividly portrayed the miserable lives of the fish-people. The program shocked me so much. In addition, your program series, “Supreme Master Ching Hai on the Harmful Effects of Meat,” also reveals how the consumption of meat is destroying the fish-people and ocean. Indeed, it’s very true as Supreme Master Ching Hai said: “Fish-people-eating is very depleting to the planetary ecosystems.” “Even fish-persons, since they are produced with the similar cruel practices as meat, we should not consume fish-people.” I’d like to contribute a little poem that speaks out for our fish-people friends, in the hope that it will evoke the inborn loving nature in more people so they give up eating fish-people as well as all other animal-people products by switching to a vegan lifestyle.

“Fish-people Are Calling for Help”

We are fish-people in the water who only want to roam happily in rivers, lakes and oceans. However, we are fearful of you humans. Scared by your fishing, imprisoned by your farming, we are trembling all day and all night in fear and anxiety. When cold iron hooks catch hold in our throats, when coarse nets trap our bodies, the pain is intolerable, and we will faint and suffocate. For we also have flesh and blood, For we also have sensitive nerves. More terrifying are the bloody kitchen knives cutting apart our bodies, gilling, scraping… As if treating unforgivable criminals, We are sentenced to death. But, what are we guilty of? What law have we violated? Innocent tears flood the seas. Silent cries shake the Highest Heaven. Help, help us! If we had hands, we’d join our palms to beg humans to stop eating fish-people. If we had legs, we’d kneel in front of humans, pleading with you to stop eating fish-people. All sentient beings in the Creation are one. Harming the fish-people is harming yourselves. Fish-people-eating will poison you and make you sick. Fishing destroys the water environment… Wake up quickly, all human friends. Treat all fish-people and sentient beings with compassion, To save our home, our Earth, And to create World Peace! Zi-Ying from China

Protective Zi-Ying, Bravo for speaking up, too, like the vegan artist and sending your poem that supports all the glorious marine animal-people who co-inhabit our Earth! Without them, humanity would perish. May Buddha’s great Light illuminate the Truth and guide all souls, including you and your brilliant Chinese co-citizens, to protect our magnificent planet. In Heaven’s Grace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master prompts us all to open our eyes, ears, and hearts in this reply to you: “Benevolent Zi-Ying, I too see, hear, and feel the pain of the people of the marine animal kingdom, as our life-giving oceans and seas continue to be heartlessly emptied and contaminated. Much Love to you and gratitude for your poetic plea to humanity to change and become vegan before it is too late. May the Godses bless and protect you and the virtuous Chinese people.”

“Why do we get sick or that our country is in wars? It’s due to our karma of killing sentient beings.” ~ The Venerable Thích Nữ Như Lan (vegetarian)
