Turkish charity builds new homes for conflict-affected families in Syria.

The Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) has completed the first phase of the Goodness Housing Project and provided 600 new houses to displaced families in the northwestern province of Idlib in Syria. The Project was launched to assist families staying in tents at the densely populated camps. The newly built houses are 28-square-meters and consist of two rooms, a bathroom, a toilet, and a kitchen with built-in plumbing and drainage. With individual donations, the TDV plans to build 5,000 houses for displaced Syrians at a cost of US$762 per reinforced concrete-made unit. Our sincere appreciation, Turkiye Diyanet Foundation, for your generous contribution! In the love of the Providence, may displaced individuals around the world find safety and stability in a soon-to-arrive peaceful world!

Astronomers gain new insight about the birth of our universe.

Astronomers from the University of Iowa, United States, have discovered that our galaxy is surrounded by a halo of clumpy hot gases continually fed with material from dying or birthing stars. This heated halo, called the “circumgalactic medium” (CGM), was the incubator for the Milky Way’s formation around 10 billion years ago and could contain basic matter unaccounted for since the inception of the universe. The findings come from observations made by HaloSat, a minisatellite primed to look at the X-rays emitted by the CGM. Published in the journal, Nature Astronomy, the researchers conclude the CGM has a disc-like geometry based on the intensity of X-ray emissions it produces. Thank you, all astronomers involved, as this discovery is critical to understanding how the universe progressed from a grain of hydrogen and helium to a cosmological expanse brimming with celestial bodies. May you find success in future research endeavors, in Divine blessing.

Up next, Mozambique makes strides in green energy development. We’ll take a moment to thank beard barbers who cut, trim, and style men's facial hair to make them look their best. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beautiful news.

Hi nature-loving friends, how have you been? I’m Gio the vegan Golden Lion Tamarin. Have you ever heard of the expression “strong as a bull?” Well, adopt a vegan diet and you can become just that! Here is a tip to help relieve ingrown toenail symptoms. Ingrown toenails can cause discomfort and be very bothersome. It occurs when the edge of your toenail incurvates and grows into the surrounding skin, which may lead to pain, swelling and redness. This condition commonly affects the big toe and is often seen in both men and women. You can try the following home remedies if you have a mild case. Soak your foot in warm water as this could help decrease swelling and pain. Epsom salt can also be added to the water to further help relieve symptoms. Applying over-the-counter antibiotic ointment or cream to the affected toenail using the manufacturer’s directions can also aid in healing and lower the chances of developing an infection. Avoid wearing narrow shoes as this is the primary cause of ingrown toenails. Also, make sure you trim your toenails straight across and not too short. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Thank you for your attention, and here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Mozambique will acquire three new solar power plants.

The government of Mozambique has approved the construction of three 40-megawatt capacity solar facilities in the provinces of Sofala, Niassa, and Tete, adding a total of 120 megawatts to the country’s current clean energy capacity. The development is part of the state-owned program, Renewable Energy Auction Promotion Programme, which has received €37 million funding from the French Development Agency and the European Union. Mozambique has previously announced an ambitious plan to rapidly mitigate climate change, including reducing 76.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2030. Congratulations on the upcoming developments, Mozambique, and thank you European Union and the French Development Agency for your generous contributions. In Heaven’s guidance, may everyone live efficiently and in harmony with nature.

French-Algerian artist-activist wins prestigious photography prize.

Acclaimed photographer and artist, Mohamed Bourouissa, has won this year’s £30,000 Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize for his ambitious work titled, “Free Trade”. The prize has been awarded annually since 1996 to a living artist making a significant contribution in Europe. Mr. Bourouissa’s highly lauded entry was first exhibited at The Rencontres d'Arles photography festival across the entire floor of a supermarket. Using photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, video and text, the artist presents vulnerable and marginalized individuals as they try to earn a living in society. His creations bring a profound human dimension to those who are often stereotyped or invisible to many. Brett Rogers, chair of the competition judges, praised the artist’s visionary work as “phenomenal.” Congratulations, Mohamed Bourouissa, for your powerfully evocative work and award. In Celestial splendor, we are ever grateful for all artists who courageously share their hearts and souls, making our world a better place.

Eleven-year-old footballer raises money for charity with keepy-uppie challenge.

Imogen Papworth-Heidel, a schoolgirl from Cambridge, United Kingdom (UK), has reached her target of 7.1 million “keepy-uppies” (a game of bouncing a ball off any part of your body except hands or arms, without the ball hitting the ground), raising over £14,000 for nine charities. Starting in April she set out to do one keepy-uppie for each of the UK’s 7.1 million key workers. The determined girl did 1,123,586 keepy-uppies over 195 days while around 2,000 sports clubs, schools, and individuals took videos of themselves doing the other 5,976,414 needed to complete her target in six and a half months. Imogen was inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore who had walked 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday to raise money for charity. We applaud this momentous achievement, Imogen Papworth-Heidel, and fellow keepy-uppie participants. May you inspire others to help and respect one another in God’s compassionate love.

Coming up, vegan mushroom leather widely adopted in fashion industry. We’ll pause now to appreciate all the wonderful benefits of electricity, providing us with convenience and marvels only dreamt of hundreds of years ago. More meaningful news coming up on Supreme Master Television.

Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Noble News for an Honorable World.

American startup partners with leading clothing companies to produce vegan-mushroom-leather products.

California-based biotechnology startup, Bolt Threads, a Shining World Invention Award laureate, is teaming up with Adidas, Stella McCartney, Lululemon, and luxury fashion group Kering, which develops products for Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Saint Laurent, and others, to roll out new mushroom leather-based collections in 2021. The startup has developed a technology in which mycelium, the quickly growing root systems of mushrooms, are processed, tanned, and dyed into a leather-like alternative called Mylo, which will be used in large quantities by the partnership. Adidas Vice President of Global Brand Strategy, James Carnes, said Mylo’s production has a lower greenhouse gas footprint with less water and land use compared to its animal-derived counterpart. Good job, Bolt Threads and participating fashion companies! We are excited about your upcoming vegan leather products. In Celestial harmony, may we dress elegantly while our animal friends live in safety and freedom.

Japanese city residents develop digestible bags to protect sacred deer population.

Three companies in the Japanese city of Nara have collaborated to produce and sell digestible paper-like bags to help protect the 1,200 local deer, who are semi-domesticated and have been considered sacred for hundreds of years. The “shika gami” (or deer paper) bags are made out of rice bran and recycled paper cartons, similar to the rice crackers that are sold for feeding the deer. So far 3,000 of the bags have been sold at a cost of around US$1.44 each. A portion of the sales from the bags will be donated to the Nara Deer Preservation Foundation. Way to go “shika gami” manufacturers for your thoughtful project to ensure the health of your sacred deer population. We pray that the majestic deer will live serene and healthy lives as they bless your beautiful city with their loving presence.

It takes 26 muscles to smile. Exercise today with this humorous joke of the day entitled “Intent Versus Function.”

Two elder ladies are walking to their local County Fair when it starts to rain. One says to the other:

"Put your umbrella up, it's raining."

"I can't. It's got holes in it."

"Holes in it? Why did you bring it with you, then?"

"I didn't think it would rain."

And now we have a heartline from Tuyết Vân in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Master and Supreme Master Television team, First of all, I would like to wish You and the team good health. O Master, I don’t know what else to say when I see what You have done for the beings on this Earth. Today, I saw You were wearing a yellow dress on Supreme Master Television with a white mourning band on Your forehead. I was choked with tears and was so touched seeing You send an urgent message to the owners of animal livestock and slaughterhouses for them to stop. Master, I truly don’t know how to describe my gratitude and that of our animal co-inhabitants to You. Although I haven’t yet received initiation, I try to follow Your teachings, not harming the animals and being vegan to save myself and other beings. Master, You are right that animals have souls and emotions. Before, I often saved our animal friends by releasing the fish back into the water when they were washed ashore. I’d rescue pigeons before my mother and aunt put them in the cooking pot. I also went with the monks and nuns and other Buddhists to release the animals back to the wild. During that trip, I was really happy as I sat inside a boat reciting Buddhist sutras and watching the fish playing in the cool water. Due to ignorance, at that time I was eating meat, but after that trip (with monks and nuns) I became a vegan. The killing karma did come looking for me, and I was a little afraid, but I was happy to pay and felt so light after that. I’ve been married for two years now. My husband is Your disciple, and because of him, I came to know You. Thank You for coming into my life and my family. Thank You for everything that You have done for my family. Please allow me to give You a hug in place of a million thanks. Thanks to all the brothers and sisters who are working hard to broadcast Supreme Master Television with wonderful programs that are positive and noble. I love very much those shows in which the animals and young children play together. It’s very touching. I hope that this channel will be broadcasting forever, 24/7, in the whole country. I love to watch it and never get bored with this channel because of all the beneficial and good programs. In closing, I wish Master and all the initiates everywhere good health, peace and happiness. May Heavens bless Master and the Supreme Master Television team and all initiates. I love all of you. Tuyết Vân from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Benevolent Tuyết Vân, Our appreciation for your heartline. To love the animals is to love ourselves and we are immensely gladdened you are now vegan. Please share Supreme Master TV with your friends and family so that they too may benefit from its positive content and energy. May Buddha’s mercy be with you and rising Âu Lạc (Vietnam), Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Here is a reply for you from Master: “Kind-hearted Tuyết Vân, what a gentle soul you are. You practice Buddha´s compassionate teachings diligently and that makes me happy. I have warmly received your hug, and I am sending it to all the loving souls who protect the defenseless animals. May their lives be strengthened by the omnipresence of the Heavens. Much Love to you and gracious Âu Lạc (Vietnam).”
