In today’s news, United States donates books to Kyrgyzstan, scientists discover hottest planet beyond our solar system, Thai company upcycles plastic bottles into personal protective equipment, survey finds pandemic brought some positive changes to people’s lives, Indigenous Australian artist wins acclaimed award, Canadian vegan food company introduces plant-based meat soups, and Finnish airport trials dogs to detect COVID-19.

United States, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, donates books to Kyrgyzstan.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) donated 285,000 children’s books to over 1,000 libraries and public schools in Kyrgyzstan. Appropriate for grades one to four, the books represent a range of subjects including stories, poems, riddles and fairy tales. They consist of 45 new and adapted titles in both Kyrgyz and Russian languages, developed in cooperation with local authors and illustrators. USAID also announced the almost US$19 million Five-year project “Oku Kerement!” (Learning Is Awesome!), with the goal of helping students improve their math and reading skills. To be implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, the initiative will distribute a million copies of 1,500 new books, as well as other learning materials to schools across Kyrgyzstan. Many thanks, United States Agency for International Development, for providing wonderful books and learning supplies for children’s education, fun time and imagination! May all youngsters in Kyrgyzstan thrive in Allah’s infinite blessings!

Astronomers measure one of the hottest planets ever recorded.

European astronomers recently discovered one of the hottest and most extreme planets ever discovered using the European Space Agency’s CHaracterising ExOPlanet Satellite (or CHEOPS). The exoplanet (or planet outside of our solar system), named WASP-189b, has a temperature of 3,200 degrees Celsius, and is orbiting around a star at a distance that is 20 times closer than the Earth’s distance to our sun. The gas giant planet is so hot that even rocks and metals cannot exist in solid form as they would be turned to gas. It has an orbit of just 2.7 days to move around its star and is 326 light years away from Earth. Such fascinating news, astronomers! In Heaven’s brilliance, may your celestial studies inspire us to gaze upwards at the wonders above as we consider our humble position in the immense universe.

Up next, Thai company upcycles plastic bottles into personal protective equipment. We’ll just take a little time to thank podcasters who make audio programs on a variety of topics readily available for listeners to download and enjoy. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more assuring news.

Hi adorable friends, I am Hana the vegan Hippo, and I look fabulous because I’m vegan. I would like to share a tip to prevent mold and mildew growth in your shower. Mildew primarily grows on shower curtains; therefore, you can make it a habit to close the shower curtain after you bathe to allow it to completely air out. If you have a shower with a door, keep the door open to dry out the inside of the shower. You can also turn your ventilation fan on or open windows to ensure your bathroom and shower can be completely dried. Thanks for your attention and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world. Now, the global weather.

Plastic bottles converted to personal protective equipment (PPE).

Thailand-headquartered chemical company, Indorama Ventures, has joined with local businesses to convert discarded recyclable PET plastic bottles into PPE. The collaboration has already turned 360,000 bottles into over 16,000 high quality reusable PPE suits for hospital staff throughout Thailand. Made with double layers for enhanced protection, the coveralls can be washed up to 50 times. The endeavor was organized by the environmental group, Less Plastic Thailand, with the bank HSBC Thailand participating as a collection point for PET bottles. Much appreciation, Less Plastic Thailand, Indorama Ventures, HSBC Thailand and all participants, for this caring project. In Divine grace, may the PPE keep many courageous health workers safe, while inspiring people worldwide to join together at this crucial time to assist others.

United States citizens report unexpected benefits during quarantine.

A recent poll of 2,000 US adults, conducted by United Kingdom-based marketing research company OnePoll, revealed that the experience of lockdown has brought some positive developments into their lives. Two thirds of them said the situation has changed their perspective and made them a better person. In fact, 27% of respondents plan to create an improved balance between work and life, 46% intend to spend more quality time with family and friends, and 38% envision developing more meaningful relationships. Many thanks, OnePoll, for these interesting results! May findings like this remind us of the silver lining on every uncertain situation, in God’s wisdom and blessing.

Australian Aboriginal artist wins prestigious prize.

Australian Aboriginal painter Vincent Namatjira was awarded the nation’s Archibald Prize, which is given annually for the best portrait by an artist residing in Australasia, for his artwork titled “Stand Strong for Who You Are.” It is the first time in its 99-year history that the Prize has been given to an Aboriginal artist. Mr. Namatjira’s painting features the artist clasping hands with a fellow member of the Indigenous community, former Australian rules football player Adam Goodes, who retired in 2015. Mr. Goodes has been a prominent voice in Australia for equality among all races, and Mr. Namatjira’s artwork is a depiction of his support of Mr. Goodes’ message. For his exceptional piece of art, Mr. Namatjira was also awarded US$70,000. Our warm congratulations, Vincent Namatjira, for your inspiring artwork and esteemed recognition. In the radiance of Heaven, may your painting help to shine the light on the importance of respecting one another for a more loving and compassionate world.

Coming up, Canadian vegan food producer introduces plant-based meat soups. We’ll take a moment to write down what we’re thankful for and focus on the good things in our lives. More encouraging news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Beautiful News for a Gorgeous World.

Vegan brand launches canned soups.

Canada-headquartered popular plant-based food company, Gardein, has debuted five canned vegan soups featuring meat alternatives: Chick’n Noodl’, Chick’n & Rice, Be’f & Vegetable, Saus’ge Gumbo, and Minestrone & Saus’ge. With zero cholesterol, no artificial preservatives or flavors, each of the soups provides 10 to 15 grams of plant-based protein, and is non-GMO Project Verified and Vegan Action Certified. The new product line is available at grocery stores, retailers nationwide, and online. Gardein also offers a wide range of frozen vegan meats. Hooray, Gardein, for your new soups. They sound delicious. May they help more people transition to the win-win plant-based diet, in the benevolence of the Providence.

Finnish airport trials dogs to detect COVID-19.

Expert sniffers ET, Kossi, Miina and Valo, recently started working at Helsinki Airport in Finland, in a pilot program using dogs trained to detect COVID-19. Multiple studies have confirmed that dogs can smell the virus with an accuracy rate of almost 100%. The intelligent canines used in the program do not come into contact with people in the airport, instead they sniff a cup that has a skin swab in it. According to studies so far, the sniffers can even detect an infected person before they show any symptoms. The dogs have been trained by Wise Nose – Finland Smell Detection Association in partnership with Dr. Anna Hielm-Björkman of the University of Helsinki’s veterinary faculty. Our gratitude, noble ET, Kossi, Miina and Valo, for your life-safeguarding assistance. God bless you manifold! Thank you also, Helsinki Airport, Wise Nose and Dr. Anna Hielm-Björkman, for your work. In Heaven’s protection, we pray for continued development of safe and effective ways to preserve the health and well-being of all.

Let’s have a little chuckle together with our joke of the day entitled “Actual Math.”

“Suppose, I bring you two dogs. Then I bring you two more dogs. How many will you have?”

“Five.”

“How so?”

“I have a dog at home now.”

And now we have a heartline from Isabella in Canada:

Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master Television team: There are never enough words to express our love, praise and gratitude to you. It is my great honor to work for Supreme Master Television, and have the opportunity to see, feel and experience the miracles that are happening. Recently, our schedule was very tight, and we all could feel the strong pushing energy, and that there would be tremendous blessing power pouring into the country and city while the news was being aired. A few days after the news was broadcast, there were 9 earthquakes that took place around our city, two were over 6 magnitude, which could have caused serious damage. But because of the powerful protective shield formed by the Ultimate Master and Supreme Master Television, the whole region was totally undisturbed. Oh, Beloved Ultimate Master, how lucky we are to have You and Supreme Master Television protecting, blessing and uplifting the world. We pray that love, peace and happiness will be with You every day. May Heaven help and shield You and the Supreme Master Television team forever. Isabella from Canada

Grateful Isabella, Thank you for your message and for sharing how your region was protected and remained safe during the earthquakes. Your story is a testament to the boundless spiritual power of Master. It is the goal of Supreme Master Television to help quicken the transition to cruelty-free, plant-based living in every corner of our planet. We all wish to see Master achieve Her vegan dream for our world soon so that humanity and animals know only peace and joy. May God abundantly bless you and your fellow upstanding Canadians with inspiration and wisdom, Supreme Master Television team

P.S. Master has some words for you: “Devoted Isabella, I am so glad that you and your city’s residents were safe despite the powerful earthquakes. Please keep your faith strong. Remembering God is always the best way to safeguard ourselves, our community and nation and creates a peaceful atmosphere. Please help to pray for World Vegan, to save our world. Heaven’s infinite radiance to you and welcoming Canada.”
