Truth and Righteousness Are More Important Than Material Wealth and Tradition: Sharing Experience of Closing Family’s Non-vegan Restaurant and Opening Vegan Restaurant

Greetings to the Kindest and Most Beloved Master in the world, the Pure Love, Supreme Master Ching Hai. I am from the country of Iran. About 12 years ago, at the suggestion of one of my friends, I took over the management of our family’s non-vegan restaurant, and after some time, I opened a second branch as well. For about 11 years, I managed two successful non-vegan restaurants, until two years ago, I became acquainted with one of Your disciples. After a few months, my spouse and I decided to become vegan, and we realized the mistakes of our past. After a while, we closed both restaurants. Closing the restaurants, saying goodbye to the staff, paying off debts, and cleaning the refrigerators of animal-people meat was very difficult and painful. But I was determined in my decision.

One night in a dream, I saw a gigantic being who came to me and gave a skull to the friend who had suggested opening the restaurant. Then, in a lucid vision, in a gathering full of light, I received a gift of jewelry from a lady whose face felt familiar to me. Perhaps it was You. After that dream, I felt better. With God’s help and with the support of kind friends, I opened the first completely vegan restaurant in the province I live in, and at a place where my family had operated a non-vegan business for about 80 years.

Sometime later, I came to know You and was honored to receive Your Heavenly Gift (initiation). From that day on, our lives have been devoted to Love and service to God’s children. In our restaurant, we prepare delicious plant-based foods and speak with kindness and awareness to our customers. Many people are surprised at first, but after tasting the food, they smile. Now our lives revolve around work, Quan Yin meditation, and being with our child. Although sometimes we become tired, disappointed, and I get afraid about how other people treat us and even worry about the future of my finances and business, Your Love and Energy inspire us, hence we continue further.

We are grateful for Your efforts and for all vegan friends. Dear Master, please pray for us, so that the Earth will be filled with Love, Light, and Peace, and that no plate will ever again be stained with the suffering and blood of animal-people.
