Today is the full moon day according to the Hindu calendar and an important day for many Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Jains. It’s Guru Purnima Festival, when they honor their spiritual teachers or gurus. In Sanskrit, guru means someone who removes darkness. In other words, a guru rids the ignorance in our souls and brings spiritual advancement. A master is someone who can expand our wisdom. Such a Sadguru (True Master), who can lead us in every step to a True Path.
