In the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association Relief News from the United Kingdom…

Steep increases in fuel and food costs, along with extremely cold winter temperatures, have created hardship for families and individuals alike. To help ease the difficulties of this time, the non-profit project Warm Welcome partnered with foodbanks, churches, libraries, and other community centers across the UK to create a network of free, warm spaces for the public.

Upon hearing of Warm Welcome’s devoted efforts, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan): “Gratefully praise the much-needed initiative, pray Heaven to bless all the goodhearted who help in this caring work, and is arranging to humbly contribute US$50,000 plus some extra financial aid later, after seeing more need, to further the loving endeavor. May God be merciful to all in need and speed up a paradise of VEGAN and PEACE. Amen!”

Our UK Association members visited several warm space locations throughout the month of February 2023, bringing our Beloved Master’s care and financial gifts to those in need.

At Harrow Baptist Church, our Association’s team delivered vegan foods and warm socks. They also brought vegan food as well as Master’s financial gift of £2,000 to the Harrow Association of Disabled People, plus £1,000 afterward, “with best wishes in God’s Mercy,” along with vegan recipe books to support the staff’s interest in learning to cook vegan foods.

Our Association members delivered vegan foods and Master’s loving gift of £2,000 plus £1,000 afterward to the Asian Community Concern center that offers counseling services, classes, and workshops to benefit local women. “With all love and best wishes for the caring endeavour, in God’s Blessing.”

The Keepers Community Hub offers the support of a warm space along with counseling, classes, and networking with other charities. Their staff was very thankful to receive Master’s gift of £1,000 plus £2,000 afterward to help cover their energy costs “With prayers for a better future for all the less fortunate brothers and sisters, in God’s benevolence!”

Co-founded and cooperatively run by four local churches, the Whitehawk Foodbank gratefully received the vegan food items that had been purchased by our Association members with Master’s gift of £1,000 plus £4,000 afterward “with all love and deep prayers for the better days ahead for those experiencing troubled times.”

The library received coffee and sweetener, as requested, along with Master’s books, while the foodbanks were very happy to receive large amounts of vegan food and other essentials. As well as Master’s loving, humble gift of £3,000 for some foodbanks’ later need.
