The Kind Hazara People of Afghanistan and Pakistan

Traditionally Hazara communities live in villages with flat-roofed houses built of mud or stone. The houses overlook a central courtyard that gives residents a view of the valleys where the people till the land to produce crops such as wheat, barley, legumes, cucumbers and fruits.
