British vegan media platform releases video highlighting animal-people industrial raising operations’ impact on the climate crisis.

Plant Based News (PBN), based in the United Kingdom, produced an annual film, spotlighting the global food system’s impact on climate change. Vegan 2022, a short video citing other media outlets and experts, shows the animal-people meat industry as the main cause of the climate crisis. The founder of PBN, Klaus Mitchell (vegan) said, “While there’s no doubt fossil fuels are important, livestock farming is also a necessary part of the solution. It really is the missing link.” Many studies have revealed that animal-people factories are a “primary driver” of climate change and biodiversity loss. To address climate change, the United Nations also called for the switch to “plant-centered diets” in 2021.
